Medical Science Liaison – Oncology/Hematology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Participate in non-promotional scientific discussions with medical professionals

• Develop enduring scientific partnerships with hospitals, centers, and networks

• Evaluate the regional treatment landscape to identify scientific inquiries and medical requirements

• Establish priorities for territory planning

• Collect and scientifically evaluate Medical and Field Insights, incorporating them into the medical strategy

• Aid in the introduction of innovative treatment options from a medical and scientific viewpoint

• Initiate and manage medical and scientific initiatives

• Assist with studies, research activities, and collaboration with selected centers

• Organize Medical Education activities, scientific presentations, Advisory Boards, and other formats for scientific exchange

• Represent AbbVie at medical congresses

• Collaborate closely with Medical colleagues and relevant in-field functions

• Uphold medical independence and adhere to applicable regulations

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed university degree in medicine or a natural science

• Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or Medical Affairs, preferably as a Medical Science Liaison

• Experience in oncology or hemato-oncology is preferred

• Scientific and/or clinical experience in multiple myeloma is highly advantageous

• Ability to critically analyze complex clinical data and communicate findings effectively

• Experience in executing scientific projects

• Confident communication skills in clinical, scientific, and cross-functional environments

• Proficient in both German and English

• Willingness to travel

• A PhD is a plus
