Medical Science Liaison – Oncology, Hematology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Participate in non-promotional scientific discussions with medical professionals.

• Establish enduring scientific partnerships with hospitals, centers, and networks.

• Evaluate the regional treatment landscape to identify scientific inquiries and medical requirements.

• Set priorities for territory planning.

• Collect and scientifically assess Medical and Field Insights, integrating them into the medical strategy.

• Aid in the launch of innovative treatment options from a medical scientific viewpoint.

• Initiate and manage medical-scientific projects.

• Provide support for studies, research endeavors, and collaborations with selected centers.

• Organize medical education activities, scientific presentations, advisory boards, and various scientific exchange formats.

• Represent AbbVie at medical congresses.

• Collaborate closely with Medical colleagues and pertinent in-field functions.

• Uphold medical independence and adhere to relevant regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree in medicine or a natural science.

• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector or Medical Affairs as a Medical Science Liaison is preferred.

• Experience in oncology or hemato-oncology is advantageous.

• Scientific and/or clinical expertise in multiple myeloma is highly desirable.

• Ability to critically assess complex clinical data and convey it effectively.

• Experience in executing scientific projects.

• Confident communication skills in clinical, scientific, and cross-functional settings.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Willingness to travel.

• A PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification is a plus.
