This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the Ozarks region.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with community and academic opinion leaders (KOLs).

• Facilitate high-quality, interactive, and non-promotional scientific discussions with healthcare professionals.

• Gather, synthesize, and utilize clinical, scientific, competitive, and regional information.

• Utilize AI tools and insights to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Monitor competitors and integrate evidence-based clinical context into engagement strategies.

• Present scientific data effectively through clear communication and presentations.

• Identify challenges and unmet needs, proposing evidence-based solutions or educational initiatives.

• Collect and provide actionable insights to guide medical strategies and cross-functional dialogues.

• Address unsolicited inquiries concerning J&J products and research.

• Assist investigators and internal partners with company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

• Work collaboratively with Medical Affairs, R&D, Clinical Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams.

• Keep scientific knowledge up-to-date through self-study, journal clubs, seminars, conferences, and peer discussions.

• Promote inclusion and a sense of belonging.

• Develop performance and growth plans in collaboration with the Field Director.

• Accurately and compliantly complete administrative tasks, activity documentation, and expense reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience is mandatory (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers).

• Postgraduate experience is necessary for Doctoral level candidates.

• Comprehensive scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge is required.

• Familiarity with research and/or healthcare systems is essential.

• Expertise in data collection and analysis, clinical knowledge, problem-solving, interpersonal influence, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and competitive landscape assessment.

• Willingness to support a specific territory with up to 70% travel.

• A valid US Driver’s License is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred, especially in an MSL role.

• At least 2 years of experience in a therapeutic area is preferred.

• Residency or fellowship experience is preferred.

• Board certification for clinical degrees is preferred.

• Proven dedication to learning emerging technologies, such as AI.

• Ability to adhere to regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines, corporate policies, and Medical Affairs SOPs and guidelines.
