This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Execute and oversee the organization’s Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.

• Track and evaluate QAPI initiatives.

• Apply quality enhancement activities utilizing continuous quality improvement principles and methodologies.

• Conduct regular clinical record assessments and data gathering.

• Aggregate, analyze, and report quality metrics concerning patient care, safety, risk management, infection control, outcomes, and customer satisfaction.

• Partner with the nursing department to ensure thorough, consistent, and compliant documentation.

• Implement oversight activities for safety, risk management, and infection control programs.

• Support mandatory OSHA safety and infection-control training programs.

• Counsel staff on matters related to patient and staff safety and risk management.

• Review incident reports for thoroughness, risk assessment, standard-of-care evaluations, and necessary follow-up.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, including Medicare Conditions of Participation and CHAP standards.

• Engage in the review of policies and procedures and suggest modifications to the Director of Quality Assurance.

• Act as a resource for clinical staff regarding standards, policies, regulations, and nursing practices.

• Provide assistance with patient visits as required.

• Examine medical records and live discharges for compliance, standards, and appropriateness.

• Complete mandatory or self-identified medical record audits.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice.

• At least 2 years of nursing experience.

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.

• If driving is required: valid state driver's license, access to a well-maintained automobile, automobile insurance that meets state and organizational standards, and an acceptable driving history.

• Capability to pass a DHS background check.

• Ability to push/pull and lift/carry weights up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

• Capacity to work for extended periods seated at a desk and using a computer.

• Ability to adjust to diverse work environments in a home setting.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Compliance with applicable OSHA exposure category requirements.
