Medical Information Specialist – German, English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Manage and address drug information queries from healthcare professionals as well as consumers/patients.

• Provide drug information through verbal communication or written documentation.

• Recognize adverse events and product complaints during interactions with customers.

• Carry out intake for initial adverse event and product complaint reports while adhering to SOPs.

• Meet local regulatory authority requirements for post-marketing adverse event reporting.

• Determine the necessary information to be gathered and the suitable depth of information collection.

• Compose narratives for adverse events and product complaints, along with tailored responses for medical inquiries.

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants on quality-related complaint processes.

• Analyze medical literature and create written materials for healthcare professionals.

• Assist in market and competitive product research, system development, sales training, and field liaison projects.

• Engage in medical writing activities.

• Provide on-call support as needed.

• Enhance and maintain customer service and process metrics for the Medical Communications Call Centre.


⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Life Sciences or healthcare, or an equivalent qualification.

• A strong clinical background is essential.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level is mandatory.

• Native German language skills are required.

• Preferred experience and/or training in call centers, medical information, the pharmaceutical industry, or clinical settings, including medical writing.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications.

• Familiarity with Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or similar platforms.

• Availability to work during European hours from 8am to 6pm CET, Monday to Friday.

• Must have legal eligibility to work in the European Union or the UK.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
