Medical Information Specialist, French & English Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Translate documents from English to the target language and vice versa, delivering responses via phone or in writing.

• Manage and respond to inquiries regarding drug information from healthcare professionals and patients.

• Provide drug information through verbal communication or written correspondence.

• Identify adverse events and product complaints during interactions with customers.

• Conduct intake processes to create initial reports on adverse events and product complaints in accordance with SOPs.

• Meet local regulatory authority requirements for post-marketing adverse event reporting.

• Determine the necessary information to be collected and the appropriate depth of inquiry.

• Compose narratives for adverse events and product complaints, as well as custom responses to medical inquiries.

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainants to manage quality-related complaint processes.

• Review medical literature and create written materials for healthcare professionals.

• Assist in market research, competitive product analysis, system development, sales training, and field liaison projects.

• Engage in medical writing and fulfill designated on-call responsibilities.

• Enhance and maintain customer service and process metrics within the Medical Communications Call Centre.


⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences or healthcare, or equivalent qualification.

• Strong clinical background is essential.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level is mandatory.

• Native or mother-tongue fluency in French is necessary.

• Strong skills in translation are a must.

• Capability to accurately evaluate adverse event information needs.

• Preferably a Pharma D / M Pharma; a BSc. or MSc. in Pharmacy is also acceptable.

• Experience in call centers, medical information, the pharmaceutical industry, and clinical settings, including medical writing, is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications is required.

• Familiarity with Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or similar tools is beneficial.

• Must have legal eligibility to work in the European Union or the UK.

• Availability for working hours in Europe, from 8am to 6pm CET, Monday through Friday.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% is necessary.
