This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage electronic records by updating demographic information, inputting data from documents, and ensuring accurate chart linking.
• Examine documents for completeness and correctness.
• Process documents within established timeframes.
• Raise unresolved or problematic cases as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Accession laboratory work and examination components of medical surveillance encounters, including exams, immunizations, lab-only encounters, and drug tests.
• Execute clerical tasks such as faxing and processing chest X-rays.
• Support lab exception reports, including TIQ and NSR Reports.
• Assist with sorting department faxes and mail.
• Retrieve, link, and assign records daily in processing systems.
• Achieve company and client deadlines as well as company objectives.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as designated by the supervisor to ensure the efficient operation of WorkCare.
• High school diploma or GED, or one to three years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Capability to create and revise written documents.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in gathering data, compiling information, and preparing reports.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through capabilities.
• Ability to meet and surpass daily and weekly individual performance objectives.
• Ability to work independently and provide assistance to fellow team members.
• Consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Proficiency in Windows operating system, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Willingness to learn additional software as necessary.
• Typing speed of 35 words per minute with accuracy.
• Ability to meet Company IT, privacy, and safety requirements for remote work setup.
• Capacity to sit for extended periods and work at a desk.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
