Medical Imaging Field Engineer 3 – AX/CT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide service for CT/AX equipment in the Savannah, GA region.

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics instruments at client locations with minimal supervision.

• Ensure timely and effective repair services.

• Educate operators to guarantee optimal system functionality and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee territory financial performance, including revenue generation, expense management, and inventory oversight.

• Monitor expiration dates of tools and test equipment, ensuring compliance with calibration standards.

• Record tool and test equipment utilization in eFSR.

• Manage company resources such as a company vehicle, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• Develop and sustain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.

• Accurately perform administrative tasks.

• Guide other Field Engineers on competencies and responsibilities.

• Work Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM following onboarding and training.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience and knowledge in servicing, performing preventative maintenance, and modifying Medical Imaging Equipment at client sites with minimal oversight.

• Background in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

• Skilled in using tools and service test equipment.

• Capability to work independently as well as within a structured team environment.

• Proficiency in relevant network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office suite, Concur, and the NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools.

• Ability to locate, interpret, and comprehend installation instructions, setup, repair, troubleshooting guides, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.

• Over 3 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.

• Valid driver's license with the ability to drive independently at all hours and a clean driving record.

• Capacity to lift 50 lbs and perform tasks involving walking, climbing ladders/step stools, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reaching, and fine manipulation.

• Good vision and the ability to work independently.

• Ability to work with controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
