Medical Imaging Field Engineer 3 – AX/CT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide service for CT/AX equipment in the Savannah, Georgia region.

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics instruments at customer locations with minimal oversight.

• Ensure timely and effective repairs while training operators to guarantee optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee territory financial performance, which includes revenue generation, expense management, and inventory oversight.

• Maintain calibration status of tools and testing equipment and document usage on eFSR.

• Manage company assets, including a company vehicle, mobile phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.

• Build and sustain business relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Accurately perform required administrative tasks.

• Guide and mentor other Field Engineers on their competencies and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience in servicing, performing preventive maintenance, and modifying Medical Imaging Equipment at customer locations with minimal supervision.

• Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

• Proficient in the use of tools and service testing equipment.

• Capability to work independently as well as within an established team environment.

• Proficiency in essential network applications and tools, including eVO, mButler, MS Office applications, Concur, and the NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools.

• Ability to locate, read, and comprehend installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematic, block diagram, and functional description documentation.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer/biomedical engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.

• Valid driver's license, capability to drive independently both during the day and at night, and a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform activities such as walking, climbing ladders/step stools, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reaching, and fine manipulation work.

• Good vision and ability to work autonomously.

• Capability to work with controlled technology in compliance with US export control laws.
