This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Act as the medically accountable physician at the trial level throughout the preparation, execution, and reporting of clinical trials.

• Offer medical expertise and oversight from the Trial Design Outline to the Clinical Trial Report.

• Become a member of the core trial team.

• Commit to a single client.

• Ensure the prompt development of high-quality clinical trial protocols while reducing the need for protocol amendments.

• Contribute to trial risk-based quality management by identifying medically relevant data and ensuring associated risks are incorporated into the quality and risk management plan.

• Co-author Clinical Quality Monitoring plans.

• Conduct ongoing evaluations of medical data.

• Collaborate with a key sponsor in the EMEA region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD), preferably with a medical thesis.

• Trained in a clinical environment.

• At least 4 years of active clinical practice experience.

• Specialization in Pulmonology, Immunology, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Rheumatology, or Emergency Medicine is highly desirable.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or CRO in medical or project management or global pharmacovigilance functions, or any other relevant medical role, particularly in Clinical Development, is preferred.

• Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines, including ICH-GCP.

• Ideally, prior experience as a medical monitor.

• Preferably experienced with data visualization systems and IT platforms.

• Experience in clinical development/trials is an additional asset.

• Must be located in Austria for this Austria-Remote position.
