Senior Director, Healthcare Partnerships

📋 Description

• Develop and expand Oura's collaborations with health plans, health systems, and virtual care providers.

• Identify and evaluate potential opportunities while defining the ideal customer profiles.

• Engage with enterprise healthcare prospects to demonstrate how Oura's wearable technology can enhance patient engagement and care delivery.

• Analyze healthcare purchasing environments, stakeholders, budgets, and business cases.

• Convert market insights into actionable recommendations regarding packaging, pricing, product priorities, and evidence requirements.

• Lead complex, consultative sales processes with senior executives in healthcare.

• Build and oversee a qualified pipeline for new business opportunities.

• Develop value propositions, business cases, pricing frameworks, and contracting strategies.

• Negotiate and finalize agreements that cover commercial terms, implementation, data usage, clinical responsibilities, and program evaluation.

• Establish long-term partnerships and create feedback loops to inform roadmap decisions.

• Transition opportunities from concept stages to pilot programs and scaled deployment.

• Define success criteria for launches and create measurement and evidence plans.

• Evaluate program performance and suggest iterations, expansions, renewals, or discontinuations.

• Transform partnership insights into replicable offerings, implementation playbooks, and case studies.

• Influence Oura's viewpoint on the role of continuous health data in care delivery.

• Set operational rhythms for pipeline reviews, partner prioritization, deal strategies, launch preparations, and post-launch evaluations.

• Represent Oura at healthcare conferences, customer meetings, and industry forums.

• Achieve first-year objectives, including a targeted market/account strategy, a qualified strategic pipeline, initial partnerships, measurable early program value, and a replicable learning system.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in digital health, healthcare technology, virtual care, healthcare services, or a closely related area, including significant experience in enterprise partnerships or business development.

• Extensive firsthand experience in commercializing disease management, connected care, remote monitoring, or wearable-enabled programs.

• Understanding of purchasing decisions within health plans, health systems, provider groups, and virtual care companies.

• Ability to craft compelling narratives for a diverse audience including chief medical officers, population health leaders, CFOs, procurement executives, product leaders, and care operations teams.

• Proven history of guiding early pilots through implementation, measurement, renewal, and expansion phases.

• Insightful perspective on wearable technology and the integration of continuous physiological and behavioral data in healthcare delivery.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced company where priorities shift rapidly and resources are limited.

• Demonstrated success in closing complex healthcare partnerships and enabling their success post-signature.

• Experience in establishing a new market, category, product, or partnership motion where the offering, buyer, pricing, or proof of value was not clearly defined at the start.

• Strong understanding of healthcare economics and buyer priorities, including member or patient engagement, care management, utilization, total cost of care, reimbursement, and return on investment.

• Experience collaborating with clinical, product, engineering, legal, privacy, implementation, and outcomes teams.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.

• Highly accountable, analytical, and proactive operating style.
