Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Nourish Medical clinical team, ensuring effective supervision of physicians and advanced practice providers.

• Establish and expand clinical quality management through the use of metrics, technology, processes, and coaching.

• Create a collaborative interdisciplinary care model that includes dietitians, therapists, and various provider types.

• Collaborate with Product and Operations to convert frontline clinical insights into improved care processes and products.

• Deliver direct clinical care to patients on the Nourish platform while managing a part-time clinical workload.

• Design new visit types, provider categories, service lines, and the clinical foundation necessary for growth.

• Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and work with Clinical Strategy on the development of protocols, quality standards, and care model structuring.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10+ years of post-medical school experience.

• Strong background in clinical practice paired with operational or analytical expertise.

• Clinical proficiency in the medical management of cardiometabolic diseases.

• Prior experience in managing clinicians.

• Data-driven decision-making ability, effectively balancing both quantitative and qualitative information.

• Capability to foster trust within a multidisciplinary team.

• Proactive approach with sound clinical judgment.

• Proficient in navigating people, systems, and technology.

• Strong first-principles thinking and skill in transforming ideas from concept to execution.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S.
