This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Sustain a targeted enterprise clinical agenda that includes owners, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and success metrics.
• Assist the CMO in prioritizing tasks based on capacity and postponing activities that do not align with the established agenda.
• Create planning documents that link clinical priorities to operational and financial decisions.
• Present significant decisions with various options, supporting evidence, trade-offs, risks, and a recommended direction.
• Facilitate clinical governance meetings, including agendas, pre-reads, decision records, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to prepare executive and Board materials.
• Propel initiatives across clinical, operational, financial, technological, and People & Culture domains.
• Monitor commitments and address or escalate dependencies and delays as needed.
• Provide support for urgent clinical or operational tasks.
• Act as a reliable thought partner to the CMO and the clinical leadership team.
• Coordinate communication for clinicians, executives, and partners in collaboration with Communications and Legal teams.
• Lead and mentor the Senior Analyst and other designated resources within the Office of the CMO.
• Undertake additional job-related tasks as directed.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in healthcare strategy, operations, clinical transformation, management consulting, an executive office, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of leading intricate cross-functional initiatives involving senior executives and clinical leaders.
• Outstanding skills in problem framing, synthesis, written communication, and executive presentations.
• Strong expertise in performance management, governance, project and portfolio management, and healthcare economics.
• Capability to manage sensitive information, exercise sound judgment, and constructively challenge senior leaders.
• Previous experience in value-based care, physician-group operations, home-based care, Medicare, or complex population management.
• Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, operating chief of staff roles, or transformation office positions.
• Prior experience in preparing materials for Boards, investors, payers, or regulatory bodies.
