Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage specific components of medical policies and programs.

• Conduct reviews of medical appeals.

• Engage with provider communities within designated regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Physician (M.D. or D.O.) with an active and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or territory.

• Required to maintain Board Certification from a specialty board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties, National Board of Physicians and Surgeons, or the Advisory Board of Osteopathic Specialists.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience is necessary.

• Strong analytical and communication abilities are essential.

• Capable of strategic thinking.

• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes, for the electronic documentation of case assessments.

• 3 years of experience in Managed Care is preferred.
