Medical Content Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Head of Content, clinical specialists, and medical writers to create educational outcomes and high-quality GP training.

• Convert medical data and clinical guidelines into engaging, clear, and practical educational materials.

• Ensure that all content aligns with educational goals, editorial standards, and meets RACGP/ACRRM accreditation criteria.

• Brief and supervise medical writers, set timelines, and provide editorial guidance.

• Review, edit, and proofread CPD activities, conference presentations, and supporting educational materials.

• Uphold clinical precision, tone, and editorial style across GPCE and ThinkGP.

• Manage clinician and stakeholder feedback and implement content revisions.

• Oversee the final upload of content and ensure quality assurance within ThinkGP and GPCE systems.

• Identify process enhancements and assist in scaling content production.

• Develop education from the initial idea through to final publication and delivery in online learning and conference settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in creating medical, clinical, or scientific educational content.

• Strong skills in medical writing, editing, and proofreading for both digital and print formats.

• Confident in interpreting medical evidence and clinical guidelines.

• Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination abilities.

• Capable of working collaboratively with clinicians, medical writers, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to editorial and clinical correctness.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

• Familiarity with content management systems and Excel.

• Knowledge of RACGP and/or ACRRM accreditation standards, or a willingness to learn.

• Experience with Articulate 360 or similar e-learning development software is a plus.
