Medical Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of pediatric claims within the PCC EMR system.

• Examine, appeal, and rectify denied and underpaid claims.

• Recognize patterns and underlying causes of denials.

• Communicate effectively and professionally to provide outstanding client service.

• Ensure that every patient visit is accurately billed and tracked through to payment.

• Complete a brief assessment and take part in an interview if selected.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing.

• Strong knowledge of the complete claims lifecycle, from charge entry to payment resolution.

• Preferred hands-on experience with PCC (Physician's Computer Company) EMR.

• Prior experience in pediatric billing or significant familiarity with pediatric payer regulations is highly preferred.

• Ability to independently manage denial resolutions.

• Understanding of pediatric payers, workflows, and compliance standards.

• Capability to investigate, appeal, and resolve denied and underpaid claims.

• Skill in identifying denial trends and root causes.

• Excellent accuracy, follow-through, and client service abilities.
