Medical Billing, Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare billing information for payer invoicing

• Adhere to contractual obligations concerning billing and encounter data, including monthly reporting

• Send invoices to relevant agencies

• Process incoming payments

• Follow up on outstanding claims

• Conduct advance reconciliations and allocate payments to the general ledger

• Ensure compliance standards are upheld for audit requirements

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience pertinent to the responsibilities

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• An Associate degree is preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel

• Must adhere to contractual provisions and guidelines from GT and agencies

• Required to meet compliance standards for auditing purposes
