Medical Billing, Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Compile billing information for payer invoicing

• Adhere to contractual obligations for billing and encounter data submission, including monthly reporting

• Dispatch invoices to agencies

• Process incoming payments

• Recover outstanding claims

• Generate advance reconciliations and allocate payments to the general ledger

• Ensure compliance standards are upheld for audit requirements

• Recognize opportunities to enhance processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience relevant to the role

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• Associate degree is preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

• Must comply with contractual requirements for the submission of billing and encounter data

• Must follow departmental procedures along with GT and agency guidelines

• Must satisfy compliance standards for audit purposes
