Medical Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the precise and prompt generation and submission of secondary claims.

• Carry out daily payment posting while reconciling payments, adjustments, and denials from both insurance carriers and patients.

• Conduct eligibility verifications for benefits prior to patient appointments.

• Produce, assess, and manage patient invoices.

• Provide assistance to patients and caregivers regarding billing and inquiries about out-of-pocket expenses.

• Work collaboratively with intake, front desk, and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient demographic and insurance details.

• Address billing inquiries and resolve disputes or claim denials swiftly and with empathy.

• Contribute to the clinic’s revenue cycle and financial operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare financial services.

• Proficiency in payment posting, secondary claim submission, and eligibility verification for benefits.

• Outstanding communication abilities, capable of clearly and empathetically elucidating complex billing and insurance matters to senior adults.

• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capacity to handle multiple financial priorities with a high level of accuracy.

• Familiarity with medical billing software, clearinghouses, EMRs, and collaboration tools like Google Workspace.

• Dependable high-speed internet connection.

• Availability to work during U.S. business hours (Eastern Time).
