This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Schedule and coordinate patient appointments across the care team utilizing EHR and scheduling systems.
β’ Address patient inquiries related to appointment availability and facilitate rescheduling when necessary.
β’ Monitor and decrease no-show rates through reminders and proactive outreach to families.
β’ Oversee scheduling logistics, including confirmation calls/messages and preparation for appointments.
β’ Collect, organize, and maintain patient intake forms, medical histories, and pertinent documentation.
β’ Ensure that patient information is complete and accurate in the EHR system prior to clinical visits.
β’ Contact referring providers to establish care, acquire medical records, and clarify patient history.
β’ Convey appointment outcomes and updates to referring providers.
β’ Monitor referral status and follow up on outstanding items with external providers.
β’ Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurse care coordinators, community health workers, psychologists, and therapists.
β’ High school diploma or GED.
β’ Medical Assistant certification (CCMA, AAMA, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various technology platforms.
β’ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
β’ Capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote environment.
