Medicaid Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold program plans, timelines, and milestones

• Collaborate with staff, subject matter experts, vendors, and stakeholders

• Monitor deliverables, budgets, risks, dependencies, and decisions

• Assist in the implementation of program policies and operational modifications

• Organize meetings with stakeholders and keep accurate action logs

• Evaluate performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement

• Draft status updates, reports, and presentations

• Aid in resolving delivery challenges and escalate issues requiring leadership intervention

• Assist in proposal development and project planning when applicable

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in supporting U.S. Medicaid programs or initiatives related to Medicaid

• Proven experience in managing projects, programs, or operational workflows

• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination abilities

• Capability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining accountability

• Knowledge of at least one Medicaid functional area

• Candidates with relevant leadership experience are encouraged to apply, even if their prior title was not Program Manager

• Experience working with state Medicaid agencies or Medicaid managed care organizations

• Familiarity with program implementation, process enhancement, or systems modernization

• Experience in performance reporting and managing government deliverables

• Project management certifications such as PMP or equivalent experience
