Material Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Oversee Global Supply Chain Management initiatives within the Evolved SeaSparrow Missile portfolio.

• Act as the liaison between Supply Chain and program integrated product teams or similar organizations.

• Formulate and execute material strategies.

• Conduct material forecasting activities.

• Ensure adherence to cost and schedule requirements.

• Assess metrics to evaluate the health of Global Supply Chain Management.

• Perform supplier evaluations.

• Create and assist in the development of ROMs and proposals.

• Propel processes to successful completion in alignment with an aggressive delivery timeline.

• Function with minimal supervision and identify when to seek assistance.

• Adjust to both strategic and tactical responsibilities.

• Collaborate in a cross-functional, team-oriented setting.

• Handle multiple competing priorities effectively.

• Synthesize information from various sources to achieve successful results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related discipline and at least 5 years of experience.

• At least 7 years of progressive, relevant business experience in supply chain, operations, program planning, estimating, compliance, or a related area.

• Proven experience in operations, program planning, estimating, or compliance within a manufacturing and/or supply chain context.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required starting from day 1.

• Earned Value Management System certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with Office 365 is preferred.
