Medicaid Program Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Medicaid programs, initiatives, or enhancement projects.

• Create program plans, set priorities, and manage execution.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams, partners, and subject matter experts.

• Direct policy implementation and operational enhancements.

• Track program performance, budgets, risks, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with agency leaders, providers, health plans, and various stakeholders.

• Convert program requirements and analytical insights into actionable recommendations.

• Prepare reports, presentations, and implementation strategies.

• Assist in opportunity assessment and proposal development as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in supporting U.S. Medicaid programs.

• Proven experience in leading teams, programs, or intricate initiatives.

• Familiarity with one or more Medicaid domains, such as managed care, eligibility, benefits, provider operations, quality, policy, or long-term services and supports.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to transform program goals into quantifiable actions.

• Leadership experience within a state Medicaid agency or Medicaid managed care organization (preferred).

• Experience in program implementation, transformation, or operational improvement (preferred).

• Management of government contracts, vendors, or interagency initiatives (preferred).

• Background in presenting recommendations to senior executives or public-sector leaders (preferred).
