This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Provide innovative utility solutions for industrial clients
• Design and implement process utility systems
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams
• Coordinate with other project disciplines to deliver integrated solutions
• Develop equipment specifications and technical documentation
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and suppliers to produce cost estimates and assist in proposal development
• Generate mass and energy balances to support process design
• Create process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Compile lists of equipment, lines, and connection documentation
• Establish operational parameters and performance criteria
• Work alongside designers to convert engineering concepts into detailed drawings
• Write installation scope documents for construction teams
• Provide support during on-site construction and installation phases
• Assist with system checkout and startup activities
• Mentor and guide junior team members as required
• Perform on-site surveys to evaluate existing conditions
• Help develop best practices and implement engineering approaches
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Over 7 years of experience with utility systems including steam, refrigeration/ammonia, compressed air, HVAC, compressed gases, and water systems
• Professional Engineer registration is preferred
• Experience in industrial HVAC and Dust Control is preferred
• Willingness to travel as necessary, with an anticipated 30% travel annually
• Successful completion of mandatory drug testing after accepting a written offer
• Approximately 30% annual travel is expected
