Mechanical Engineering Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with the model regarding engineering scenarios and theoretical mechanical engineering inquiries

• Assess the factual correctness and logical consistency of model outputs

• Record reproducible error traces and document instances of failure

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation criteria

• Challenge sophisticated language models on mechanical engineering subjects to aid in the enhancement of model reasoning

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, dynamics and vibrations, solid mechanics, control systems, finite element analysis, and mechanical design

• Expertise in stress-strain analysis, HVAC systems, machine kinematics, materials selection, energy systems, manufacturing processes, and computational simulations

• Experience in challenging advanced language models on engineering subjects

• Capability to verify factual accuracy and logical coherence

• Ability to capture reproducible error traces

• Skill in suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

• A PhD in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is preferred

• Peer-reviewed publications, CAD/CAE project experience, system design involvement, or applied research in mechanical systems are indicative of suitability

• Clear, reflective communication skills and the ability to demonstrate your reasoning

• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet connection
