Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Validate, design, and strategize both restricted and non-restricted customer solutions utilizing the Vodafone network.

• Execute access planning responsibilities.

• Oversee a workload of intricate tasks across various systems.

• Develop services as outlined by the product portfolio.

• Facilitate collaboration between Sales and Delivery by accurately processing services based on agreed-upon customer designs.

• Generate and submit precise orders to suppliers.

• Achieve a balance between operational performance and proactive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Work in partnership with the broader access function and stakeholders to explore future working methodologies.

• Provide support for key customer projects.

• Conduct root cause analysis for escalations.

• Incorporate technical, customer, and business viewpoints into decision-making processes.

• Adhere to established processes and guidelines for ambiguous, high-profile, or significant problems and projects.

• Represent the technical domain, discipline, or product during discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience within a telecommunications setting.

• Strong understanding of the technologies used to deliver customer solutions.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• SC clearance or eligibility is a prerequisite.

• Willingness and capability to undergo and secure Secure Vetting (SC) clearance.

• Familiarity with order and inventory management applications such as Amdocs, Cramer, or MORI is beneficial.

• Subject to criminal (DBS) and financial background verifications.
