Mechanical Designer, Solidworks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop parts, assemblies, and technical drawings utilizing SolidWorks.

• Edit .dxf and .dwg files with DraftSight software.

• Assemble fabrication packages using Adobe and Excel.

• Offer creative solutions to intricate mechanical and structural design issues.

• Perform system design and analysis to confirm that functionality and performance meet project standards.

• Work in conjunction with drafting, engineering, and project management teams.

• Guarantee timely completion of all projects.

• Design and draft process gas equipment, including dampers, expansion joints, ductwork, silencers, stacks, and support towers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in metal fabrication and manufacturing.

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical and/or structural design.

• 5 years of practical experience with SolidWorks.

• Strong expertise in 3D modeling, particularly with sheet metal components, weldments, and large/complex assemblies featuring moving parts.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or DraftSight.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet, dedicated workspace suitable for remote work.

• Currently living in the Philippines and legally permitted to work there.

• Availability during EST working hours.
