This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bangladesh, +5 more countries.
• Supervise and guide a team of 5–10 technical trainers, ensuring high-quality task performance, productivity, and prompt delivery.
• Conduct thorough reviews of engineering tasks from start to finish, encompassing problem statements, geometry and mesh files, simulation inputs, material properties, reference solutions, and automated testing.
• Assess tasks related to finite-element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), thermodynamics, heat transfer, dynamics, robotics, flight simulation, propulsion, and orbital mechanics.
• Guarantee that tasks illustrate realistic workflows within mechanical and aerospace engineering, necessitating meaningful, multi-step technical reasoning.
• Confirm engineering accuracy concerning units, equilibrium, conservation laws, boundary conditions, mesh convergence, solver tolerances, reference frames, and numerical stability.
• Validate computational environments, simulation tools, solvers, and dependencies to ensure reproducibility of results.
• Evaluate automated graders to ensure they measure meaningful engineering outputs, such as stresses, deflections, natural frequencies, aerodynamic coefficients, thermal performance, orbital parameters, and safety margins.
• Detect technical inaccuracies, unrealistic assumptions, incorrect tolerances, and potential shortcuts that bypass genuine engineering calculations or simulations.
• Provide constructive technical feedback, monitor revisions, and ensure that quality issues are addressed prior to task approval.
• Onboard trainers, distribute work, oversee quality and throughput, troubleshoot technical obstacles, and maintain technical documentation and best practices.
• PhD, postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced technical knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient programming skills in Python, C/C++, Fortran, Julia, or MATLAB/Octave.
• Familiarity with Linux and command-line interfaces.
• Practical experience in at least one primary area, such as FEA, CFD, dynamics, flight simulation, thermal modeling, astrodynamics, guidance, navigation and control (GNC), or propulsion modeling.
• Solid understanding of engineering simulation, numerical methods, computational modeling, and technical validation.
• Experience in reviewing intricate technical work, engineering simulations, computational models, or research outputs.
• Capability to evaluate engineering assumptions, numerical precision, solver convergence, and computational dependability.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify technical mistakes, edge cases, and flawed engineering assumptions.
• Background in mentoring, reviewing, or leading small technical teams.
• Exceptional written communication skills for delivering precise technical feedback and documentation.
• Comprehensive health insurance package.
• Opportunities for professional development and further education.
• Flexible work hours and remote work options.
• Collaborative and innovative work environment.
