Measurement Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Utilize iRoofing’s proprietary software to accurately create roof diagrams from aerial imagery.

• Evaluate building architecture and apply sound judgment to finalize complex or non-standard diagrams.

• Efficiently manage incoming tasks, prioritizing to meet quality standards and turnaround times.

• Communicate effectively in English using company-provided tools.

• Take responsibility for quality and accuracy, independently identifying and resolving discrepancies or edge cases.

• Offer constructive feedback to enhance tools, workflows, and overall team performance.

• Contribute to process improvements and documentation, including updating training materials and shared resources.

• Assist in onboarding and integrating new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

• Serve as a developing subject matter expert in roofing diagramming, tools, and workflows.

• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, consistency, and team performance.

• Strong proficiency with technology and web-based tools; quick learner of new systems.

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a high-volume environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to collaborate in a remote team environment.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to interpret visual data and make informed decisions.

• Experience with Xactimate or roof sketching tools is preferred.

• Previous experience in production, operations, or technical roles that demand accuracy and throughput is preferred.

• Proven track record of working with U.S.-based business teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must have full and ongoing overlap with Porch’s U.S. EST business hours (7:30 PM IST–3:30 AM IST).

• A quiet workspace is required.

• Internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed is necessary.
