This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in research-level physics challenges within your specific subfield.
• Based on your publication history, create problems, resolve them, review completed work, or audit projects.
• Generate comprehensive written explanations that can be independently followed and verified by another expert.
• Utilize techniques in special functions, integrable systems, permutation combinatorics, or conformal geometry.
• Provide evidence of publications, your role as an author, and demonstrated methods for chosen research areas.
• Fill out an application form that covers essential information, educational background, research experience, and self-attestation of methods.
• If necessary, take part in a brief live alignment call to confirm your area and assignment.
• Complete a short assessment lasting 30–45 minutes only if required.
• Collaborate on projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems.
• A PhD in mathematical physics, theoretical physics, or mathematics is a mandatory requirement.
• Postdoctoral researchers, research scientists, and junior faculty are the ideal candidates.
• Senior PhD students with a strong record as first authors are also encouraged to apply.
• Published work must pertain to at least one of the specified phenomena, not just a related area.
• A verifiable publication record showcasing three to five representative papers, including arXiv IDs or DOIs; first authorship is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in at least one specified method family: special function analysis, integrability, combinatorics, or geometric methods.
• Competent in LaTeX, Python, SymPy, and Jupyter.
• Some familiarity with an agentic coding extension in VS Code is advantageous.
• English proficiency at level B2 or higher, including strong written reasoning skills.
• Commitment to 10 hours per week over an 8 to 10 week period, starting immediately.
• Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor.
• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates will not be supported.
