This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Oversee the comprehensive development, integration, and performance assessment of intricate project and program schedules.
• Establish, execute, and uphold an enterprise scheduling management system for designated projects and program plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and government program offices to define specific tasks, durations, logical relationships, dependencies, and critical path networks.
• Create operational program schedules that align with Motorola Solutions' Sales to Service delivery framework and adhere to project financial accounting standards.
• Work alongside customers and subcontractors to ensure progress towards milestones, critical path events, dependencies, and achievement criteria.
• Assess schedule advancement, logical relationships, float, and performance to pinpoint bottlenecks, risks, and critical path challenges.
• Facilitate monthly project schedule evaluations and engage in monthly program assessments.
• Provide feedback on schedule and network analysis.
• Address schedule control matters with the Lead/Principal Master Scheduler.
• Produce and interpret weekly schedule performance reports and monthly cost performance reports for executive leadership.
• Conduct schedule analysis for Contract Variance Reports, including Root Cause Analysis and Mitigation Forecasting.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical project scheduling experience covering both construction and software development projects in public and private sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience in project controls, construction management, engineering, or related fields).
• Over 5 years of advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Expertise in Planview Portfolios (Enterprise One), Primavera P6, and Smartsheet.
• Strong grasp of PASEG (NDIA Program Integrated Trip Guide), PMBOK (PMI), and other relevant scheduling standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and schedule mitigation forecasting.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of WBS architecture, baseline control, float management, and critical path methodology (CPM).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Willingness and ability to travel under 10% of the time.
