This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Draft, schedule, and publish social media content, primarily focusing on LinkedIn.

• Create, format, and distribute biweekly newsletters.

• Execute HubSpot email marketing campaigns, oversee distribution lists, plan send schedules, and monitor performance metrics.

• Assist in marketing and communications for events, workshops, meetings, and webinars.

• Aid in promotional campaigns for flagship events, including emails, social media posts, website updates, registration copy, speaker highlights, reminders, acknowledgments, and post-event communications.

• Perform routine updates on the WordPress website and ensure content is accurate, current, and well-formatted.

• Manage contact lists, campaign assets, and marketing workflows.

• Track and report engagement metrics for newsletters, emails, social media, and campaigns.

• Proofread and edit content for clarity, accuracy, formatting, tone, and brand alignment.

• Apply brand guidelines across all marketing materials and vendor-generated assets.

• Keep organized brand assets, templates, messaging documents, and style guides.

• Create basic graphics and marketing assets using Canva.

• Identify outdated or off-brand materials and coordinate necessary revisions.

• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and scope-compliant delivery of marketing and communications projects.

• Oversee orders of promotional items, including proofs, approvals, and delivery coordination.

• Coordinate blog content with writers, contributors, and subject matter experts.

• Partner with graphic design contractors or agencies on larger design initiatives.

• Maintain records of vendor contacts, project specifics, deadlines, proofs, files, and approvals.


⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

• A cover letter is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field, or 2 years of equivalent professional experience in the absence of a degree.

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related role.

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

• Experience in creating and scheduling social media content, particularly on LinkedIn.

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms; HubSpot experience is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.

• Experience with making updates on WordPress.

• Strong understanding of brand consistency across various channels and asset types.

• Excellent editorial judgment and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, writers, designers, printers, or promotional item providers.

• Ability to write creative briefs, gather feedback, manage revisions, and track approvals.

• Strong project coordination skills with the capability to manage timelines and follow up effectively.

• Capacity to work independently and manage recurring deadlines.

• Ability to learn the organizational voice, brand standards, communications priorities, and stakeholder audiences.

• Capability to adhere to established policies and processes.

• Ability to operate a computer for several hours continuously.

• Willingness to travel 1–2 times, with trips lasting up to 5 consecutive nights.

• May occasionally be required to move or lift up to 35 pounds.

• Preference for candidates who can work during East Coast business hours.

• Previous experience in event marketing is preferred.

• Experience with member-based organizations, nonprofits, associations, or technology-focused organizations is preferred.

• Familiarity with B2B marketing, stakeholder communications, or technical audiences is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of marketing analytics is preferred.

• Experience with marketing calendars, project management tools, and campaign planning is preferred.

• Experience in remote or hybrid work environments is preferred.
