This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and oversee the testing roadmap for outreach and engagement strategies.
• Design controlled experiments that encompass hypotheses, randomization, control groups, sample sizing, and success criteria.
• Perform power analysis and determine minimum detectable effects prior to test launches.
• Evaluate test results for statistical validity, considering sequential analysis and multiple comparisons.
• Assess historical appointment, outreach, and attendance data to pinpoint factors contributing to missed visits and assess opportunities.
• Utilize observational causal inference methods when controlled testing is impractical and clarify any limitations.
• Develop segmentation and targeting strategies for patient demographics.
• Convert findings into actionable recommendations and implementation specifications for operations.
• Document test designs, results, and decision-making processes.
• Report on show-rate performance and program impact, highlighting operational and financial effects to leadership.
• Offer technical guidance and review for the Patient Engagement Analyst and Marketing Operations Specialist.
• Collaborate with clinical, compliance, and operations leadership to adhere to organizational, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Provide hands-on technical direction to a Marketing Operations Specialist and a Patient Engagement Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, data science, marketing analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in marketing science, experimentation, causal inference, or advanced analytics.
• Proven experience in designing, executing, and analyzing controlled experiments from start to finish.
• Practical knowledge of experimental design principles, including randomization, sample sizing, power analysis, stratification, and multiple comparisons.
• Advanced SQL skills, along with proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience working with large and imperfect operational datasets.
• Familiarity with observational causal inference methods such as matching, difference-in-differences, or propensity scoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including the skill to present analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Good judgment in differentiating statistically valid results from inconclusive ones, along with the capability to convey that distinction clearly.
• Windows or Apple (macOS) computer only; no Chromebooks, Linux machines, or smartphones.
• At least Windows 10 or macOS 14 Sonoma required.
• Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent (Windows) processor, or Apple Silicon (Macs).
• Minimum of 16 GB RAM.
• Wired headphones are mandatory; built-in microphones are not allowed.
• Minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload is required.
• An Ethernet cable must connect the computer directly to the router.
• Google Chrome with Amazon Workspaces is necessary.
• A webcam is required for video calls.
• Reliable internet connectivity and a secure, private workspace are essential.
• Preferred but not required: healthcare experience, patient or member engagement programs, uplift or heterogeneous treatment effect models, regulated-environment experimentation, knowledge of HIPAA/TCPA, behavioral science, older adult populations, and an advanced quantitative degree.
