
Marketing Manager II – Account/Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Coordinate the smooth execution of various marketing projects within a regulated pharmaceutical setting.
• Manage the daily operations and delivery of tactical projects with low to medium complexity, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Comply with organizational quality standards and processes.
• Propel the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and partner agencies.
• Share project ownership with senior-level Account and Project Management personnel.
• Assist in the development of comprehensive project plans.
• Prepare submissions for regulatory review.
• Act as a liaison between the client and the agency.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Guide teams throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Recognize and escalate project risks.
• Develop project timelines and cost estimates.
• Conduct project burn analysis, including communication, action, and mitigation strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent education and professional experience is required.
• Two to five years of professional experience in an Account and/or Project Management position.
• Demonstrated success and experience working in an agency environment.
• Experience in a regulated environment is advantageous.
• A proactive, solution-oriented self-starter with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Client-focused mindset, comfortable serving as a liaison between the client and the agency.
• High performance in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
• Understanding of fundamental project management skills and standards, with the ability to lead teams through a project’s lifecycle.
• Solid grasp of scope and change management.
• Familiarity with project burn analysis, including communication, action, and mitigation.
• Knowledge of how to identify and escalate project risks.
• Experience in creating timelines and project cost estimates.
• Basic understanding of Project Management Information Systems such as Workfront, Workfront Proof, Smartsheet, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capability to build trusting relationships internally and externally.

• High level of accountability and ownership regarding project actions.
• Proven organizational and time management skills with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
