Marketing Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop direct-response video scripts tailored for UGC creators, actors, and voice-over talent.

• Organize scripts utilizing performance frameworks such as Hook → Problem → Agitation → Solution → Social Proof → CTA.

• Create visual notes alongside the dialogue to assist editors and producers.

• Conduct research on client products, competitors, and customer feedback to uncover creative perspectives.

• Generate diverse hook ideas for testing purposes.

• Create primary text, headlines, and descriptions for advertisements on Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.

• Align copy tone with each brand's persona.

• Analyze performance metrics in collaboration with the Strategy team.

• Revise scripts based on drop-off rates and click-through rate performance.

• Update successful ads with new script variations to alleviate creative fatigue.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of copywriting experience, particularly with DTC brands, e-commerce, or performance marketing agencies.

• Knowledge of the differences between direct-response writing and brand writing.

• Capability to craft attention-grabbing hooks, particularly within the initial 3 seconds.

• Proficiency in concise writing.

• Understanding of human desires, objections, social proof, and urgency.

• Flexibility in adapting voice across various brand personas and target audiences.

• Native-level proficiency in English.

• Excellent grammar and mastery of American English idioms and slang.

• Awareness of cultural nuances for effective advertising.
