This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Adapt, translate, or repackage global campaigns, brand assets, and messaging tailored for the Korean market.
• Develop original content for the Korean audience, including social media posts, captions, and short-form videos.
• Enhance SCA's presence in Korea across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Establish a regular posting schedule, platform-specific formats, and practices for community engagement.
• Manage the entire production process for platform-native content, including filming, editing, captioning, and publishing.
• Assist in marketing for local Korean events and SCA educational programs, including Diplomas, Q Grader, Coffee Business Education, and Master of Specialty Coffee.
• Monitor content and platform performance in Korea and provide reports to the Director of Digital Production.
• Collaborate proactively with the Managing Director, Korea and the Director of Digital Production to align local content with global brand strategy, campaign schedules, and local priorities.
• Conduct audits of the Korean-market platform presence, identify content gaps and growth opportunities, and develop an initial growth plan for the platform.
• Over 3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Fluency in Korean, both written and spoken.
• Located in Korea, with the ability to support local events as required.
• Practical experience in creating and publishing content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, including filming, editing, and platform-specific formatting.
• Proficiency in content creation and editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of Korean social media platform conventions, trends, and audience behavior.
• Excellent written localization abilities, translating and adapting content between Korean and English.
• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple concurrent content projects and deadlines across two leaders and two time zones.
• Experience in the coffee industry, hospitality, or specialty food and beverage sectors is preferred.
• A portfolio showcasing videography or photography work that demonstrates platform-native content is preferred.
• Experience in supporting local events, trade shows, or marketing for educational programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with website content management systems such as SquareSpace or similar is preferred.
