This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Compose and revise marketing content for both print and digital platforms.
• Create copy for brochures, product materials, web pages, emails, sales documents, and various marketing communications.
• Author and organize in-book marketing content, including front and back matter as well as promotional pages.
• Tailor product positioning and messaging for diverse audiences and formats.
• Assist in articulating clear and engaging product and customer narratives.
• Edit marketing content for grammar, spelling, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
• Evaluate final materials prior to publication or production.
• Confirm that product details, terminology, pricing, URLs, and other specifics are precise and consistent.
• Uphold a consistent FA Davis voice throughout marketing materials.
• Oversee content projects from initial request through review, approval, and production stages.
• Create and manage project timelines.
• Facilitate reviews and approvals with Product Marketing, Editorial, Design, Digital Marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure project progression and identify potential delays.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Publishing, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in content development, marketing communications, publishing, copywriting, or a similar role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
• Robust project management and organizational skills.
• Capability to handle multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across various departments.
• Proficient in transforming product information into clear, customer-oriented marketing copy.
• Experience in publishing, education, healthcare, or educational technology is advantageous.
• Must be able to work remotely within the Eastern Time Zone.
• High-speed internet access of no less than 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload, which is reliable, available, accessible, and secure.
• Ability to participate in virtual meetings, including requirements for “camera on” attendance.
