This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including car wash associates, site leaders, and maintenance technicians.
• Provide practical training on tunnel operations, loading protocols, safety measures, equipment resets, and quality benchmarks.
• Educate teams on the use of chemicals, basic titration, preventative maintenance practices, and tunnel readiness.
• Certify team members on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), wash quality, customer experience, upselling practices, and safety measures.
• Conduct training sessions at high-traffic locations and specific training facilities.
• Act as the lead trainer for new site openings at the market level.
• Facilitate pre-opening and opening-week training for operational and maintenance positions.
• Aid in the ramp-up phase by reinforcing procedures, performance expectations, and proper equipment handling.
• Offer coaching and troubleshooting assistance during stabilization phases.
• Perform on-site evaluations to assess skills, monitor wash quality, and reinforce training effectiveness.
• Guide teams on tunnel operations, throughput management, customer service, chemical oversight, and equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with Site Managers and District Managers on onboarding processes, action plans, and employee development strategies.
• Mentor high-potential staff for advancement into leadership positions.
• Implement new initiatives, updates to SOPs, technology changes, and revisions to equipment or chemical protocols.
• Support pilot programs and relay field implementation feedback to training leadership.
• Keep records of training hours, certifications, checklists, and skill assessments.
• Maintain training logs and ensure adherence to company training standards.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with wash standards, equipment maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Identify training deficiencies and propose targeted solutions.
• Assist in corrective action plans addressing safety, uptime, or customer experience issues.
• 1–3 years of experience in car wash operations, tunnel management, or maintenance roles.
• Solid understanding of tunnel equipment, basic troubleshooting techniques, and wash quality standards.
• Experience in coaching or training frontline employees or leaders.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
• Capacity to operate in fast-paced outdoor settings with moving equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the market area.
• Preferred: Previous experience as Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Market Technician, or similar positions.
• Preferred: Background in training or instructing in field environments.
• Preferred: Knowledge of chemical systems, preventative maintenance routines, or tunnel safety protocols.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), digital training programs, or SOP frameworks.
• Preferred: Bilingual skills (if applicable to the market).
• Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
• Ability to work inside tunnels and equipment rooms in proximity to moving and automated machinery.
• Capability to lift 40 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for prolonged periods.
• Frequent travel between sites; occasional travel outside the market may be required.
