Market Development Technician – Specialist, AGRO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Drive the technical advancements within the regional agricultural sector.

• Identify business prospects aligned with regional traits.

• Offer technical assistance to both the sales team and customers.

• Oversee the demand-generation process in collaboration with the commercial team.

• Establish connections with researchers, crop advisors, cooperatives, and agribusiness consultants.

• Conduct technical training sessions for both internal and external sales personnel.

• Enhance relationships with customers, consultants, foundations, and other key regional influencers.

• Support BASF's growth and positioning among significant regional stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Management, or Marketing.

• Background in agribusiness, specifically in sales, marketing, and/or R&D.

• Familiarity with soybean and corn cultivation.

• Established connections with foundations, consulting agencies, and crop advisory institutions.

• Knowledge of the agricultural landscape in southern Mato Grosso do Sul.

• Strong skills in relationship building.

• Business acumen.

• Technical influence to bolster the company’s growth and positioning among key regional stakeholders.
