Market Development Technician – AGRO Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop the market technically, considering regional characteristics

• Identify potential business opportunities

• Offer technical assistance to the sales team and customers

• Oversee the demand generation process in collaboration with the commercial team

• Foster relationships with researchers, technical advisors, cooperatives, and agribusiness consultants

• Conduct technical training for both internal and external sales personnel

• Enhance relationships with customers, consultants, foundations, and other key regional influencers

• Support BASF’s growth and positioning among major stakeholders in the region

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomic Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Management, or Marketing

• Experience in agribusiness, particularly in sales, marketing, and/or R&D

• Familiarity with soybean and corn crop management

• Established connections with foundations, consulting firms, and recommending institutions

• Insight into the agricultural market in southern Mato Grosso do Sul

• Strong skills in relationship-building, business acumen, and technical influence
