Market Development Manager, Polymers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate business opportunities within the polymer sector.

• Select and engage with relevant industry organizations, conferences, and collaborative efforts.

• Network and establish relationships with stakeholders, thought leaders, and partners for collaboration.

• Communicate internally with sales, product management, and marketing regarding market needs, applications, and business prospects.

• Develop and sustain emerging technology markets through strategic alliances, application development, and focused market development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong project management skills and a proactive attitude towards market development.

• Outstanding communication abilities, with effectiveness in large meetings.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in capital equipment sales, business development, or a related scientific field.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% across the US and internationally.

• Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent exceptional industrial experience.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Not eligible for current or future work authorization or visa sponsorship.
