Manufacturing Simulation Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive program timeline for Greenfield/Brownfield simulation projects, focusing on priority sites.

• Take ownership of tracking and reporting for 2D and 3D simulation groups — including scope, participants, timing, and logistical arrangements.

• Assist in coordinating efforts with both internal and external partners for simulation mobilization.

• Maintain essential program governance documents: charters, RAID logs, status reports, and steering committee materials.

• Collaborate with Simulation Leaders and Business/Engineering stakeholders to ensure consistency in scope and deliverables.

• Aid in planning and executing logistics for Kaizen events linked to simulation programs.

• Ensure data accuracy and reporting for simulation portfolio KPIs.

• Identify resource shortages and highlight capacity issues within the team before they escalate into delivery risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Several years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or roles focused on lean/operations excellence.

• Proven lean expertise — including VSM, kaizen facilitation, flow design, or equivalent practical experience in an industrial environment.

• Demonstrated success in managing a program or functional PMO: including pipeline management, coordination among multiple stakeholders, and executive reporting.

• Understanding of simulation concepts (2D DES, digital twin) — direct modeling experience is not necessary.

• Experience working with or across Industry 4.0, automation, or digital technology sectors.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — capable of drafting concise one-pagers for ELT and conducting efficient weekly team syncs.

• Ability to establish structure in ambiguous situations: define the process, then implement it.

• Proficiency in project management tools.

• Cross-segment or cross-functional experience within a large industrial or manufacturing organization.
