Managing SAP FI Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the Finance workstream in major S/4HANA initiatives, from process discovery to go-live.

• Assume functional ownership of FI within the project, encompassing General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, and financial closing procedures.

• Collaborate with clients’ Accounting and Controlling teams to analyze and redesign finance processes.

• Assist throughout the entire project lifecycle: analysis, solution design, customization, legacy system migration, testing, rollout, and go-live support.

• Offer functional guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.

• Establish standards, methodologies, and an internal knowledge repository.

• Support proposal development and client meetings.

• Contribute to the future evolution of the FI practice, with the chance to build and manage your own area of responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in SAP FI, including multiple S/4HANA projects where you had functional responsibility for your domain.

• Extensive knowledge in FI Customizing.

• Strong comprehension of the foundational accounting processes.

• Effective communication skills with financial accounting teams and IT stakeholders.

• Familiarity with CO is advantageous, but not essential.

• Openness to train and nurture junior consultants.

• Readiness to embrace functional responsibility beyond individual projects.
