This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and nurture an engineering team responsible for delivering cloud security controls as software products, which includes tasks such as hiring, onboarding, coaching, managing performance, and fostering career development.
• Establish technical direction and oversee the execution of design, implementation, deployment, and production support for cloud security capabilities.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture and design evaluations, technical decision-making, code reviews, and critical implementation tasks.
• Take ownership of the reliability, performance, effectiveness, and ongoing improvement of production products.
• Collaborate with Digital Product Managers, platform teams, engineering stakeholders, and security stakeholders to ensure alignment on roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Cultivate an engineering culture focused on test-driven development, pair programming, rapid feedback, technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Convert complex cloud security requirements into scalable engineering solutions, reusable patterns, and automated capabilities.
• Drive agile execution with an emphasis on delivery outcomes.
• Act as the first-level manager for a team of engineers.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software, cloud, platform, or security engineering, including ownership of production systems that deliver measurable reliability, performance, or security results.
• At least 2 years of experience in leading and developing engineers through effective people leadership and hands-on technical guidance, including coaching, architecture reviews, design decisions, and code evaluations.
• Extensive experience in securing cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP, encompassing cloud-native services, architectures, and security controls.
• Strong engineering skills in Python, Bash, Terraform, and cloud-native automation tools.
• Capacity to translate security requirements and risks into scalable engineering solutions, reusable patterns, and automated controls.
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects, manage cross-team dependencies, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Background investigation required.
• Generally, no employment-based visa sponsorship provided.

• Provision of appropriate desk and seating arrangements when working from home.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
