This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Recruit and manage a team of employees, encompassing hiring, retention, termination, career advancement, project scheduling, progress tracking, grievance resolution, coaching, and acting as a Security Liaison.
• Formulate a strategic vision and roadmap for customer education initiatives that align with the company's objectives.
• Create and implement educational channels, such as online courses, tutorials, webinars, live training sessions, and product onboarding offerings.
• Establish a learning strategy and content management plan to enhance development efficiency and the quality of learning content.
• Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, Technical Support, and other departments to identify educational needs and opportunities.
• Set KPIs and analyze data to evaluate and continuously enhance the effectiveness and impact of customer education.
• Engage directly with customers through workshops, seminars, and other events to gather insights and promote ongoing learning.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in customer education to integrate relevant innovations.
• Serve as an internal thought leader and advocate for customer education.
• Collaborate with Product, Technical Support, DevOps, Implementation, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure educational initiatives align with business goals.
• A bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in customer education with tangible results achieved within a SaaS environment.
• Strong grasp of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and educational technologies.
• Strategic capability to convert business objectives into actionable educational initiatives and assess their impact.
• Experience collaborating across various functions, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support teams.
• Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, and relevant software applications.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• A passion for customer success and a commitment to delivering outstanding learning experiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to customer sites and the company headquarters in California.
