Managing Director – Pension & Retirement Plan Actuarial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Pension & Retirement Plan Actuarial division comprehensively, encompassing strategy, client relations, quality assurance, and financial outcomes.

• Act as the certified actuary of record with authority to endorse funding valuations and associated tasks.

• Bring an existing client portfolio or establish one through credibility and strong relationships.

• Outline the service offerings, ranging from actuarial consulting to a more comprehensive bundled approach.

• Determine which tasks should transition first to AI-driven workflows.

• Collaborate with engineering to confirm the accuracy of Infinity's calculation engine against third-party actuarial software.

• Recruit and develop analysts and support staff as the client portfolio expands.

• Work together with other business unit leaders to cross-sell services to shared clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Enrolled Actuary, or an actuarial team lead possessing the necessary credentials to authorize funding valuations.

• Extensive experience in funding valuations, accounting disclosures, and regulatory reporting for employer-sponsored plans.

• A portable client base or the credibility to quickly establish a clientele.

• Senior practitioner or already functioning independently, prepared to develop a practice.

• Insight into how AI-driven workflows can replace analyst tasks and methods for validating outcomes.

• An entrepreneurial mindset.

• Must be located in the United States.

• Business units are currently focused on serving clients within the US only.
