Managing Consultant – Life Sciences Technology Consulting, Patient Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy, implementation, and completion of technology projects related to patient services.

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk management.

• Coordinate and inspire cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and subject matter experts.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.

• Provide regular updates to clients, manage their expectations, and proactively resolve issues.

• Assist the Director in business development efforts through proposals, presentations, and solution design.

• Supervise the integration of digital platforms, data architectures, and workflow automation tools.

• Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and demonstrate solutions.

• Track project performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies.

• Mentor junior team members to cultivate a collaborative, high-performance environment.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in patient services and technology consulting.

• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, achieve client satisfaction, and enhance Guidehouse’s patient services technology consulting practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 5 years of overall professional experience.

• Background in technology consulting, project management, or patient services, ideally within the biopharma or healthcare sectors.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and delivering technology solutions in a client-facing setting.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and team members.

• US Citizenship is a contractual requirement.

• Familiarity with digital platforms, data integration, and workflow automation is preferred.

• An advanced degree in a relevant field (MBA, MS, MPH, or similar) is preferable.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).

• Understanding of patient services operations, technology platforms (CRM, patient portals), and data analytics.

• Previous consulting experience with top-tier firms or in a biopharma technology delivery role.
