This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the intake, submission, and follow-up processes for new product, repair, and equipment rental orders.

• Maintain ongoing communication with SLPs regarding funding cases and guide them on document preparation as well as funding policies and regulations.

• Collaborate with insurance providers, governmental agencies, and educational institutions to facilitate order placements.

• Monitor funding authorization cases until completion.

• Verify eligibility through online resources and by interacting with funding agencies.

• Evaluate prior authorization documents against the criteria set by third-party payers.

• Investigate previous orders and payment history/DSOs for repair or new order inquiries.

• Input and finalize orders within the order management system database.

• Communicate with clients and their family members regarding funding requests and co-payment obligations.

• Advocate for client cases with third-party insurance providers and troubleshoot issues until resolved.

• Address third-party denials and provide consultation on complex funding cases.

• Notify the supervisor about potential challenges with third-party payers.

• Perform a variety of other assigned duties.

• Bachelor's Degree or 2–4 years of relevant experience.

• Preference for candidates with a background in the health insurance sector.

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

• Customer service-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in internet navigation.

• Experience with MS Office Word and Outlook.

• Capable of multitasking in a dynamic work environment.

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods.

• Competence in managing interruptions in a fast-paced setting.
