This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead discussions on technical scoping and requirements gathering with clients during the planning stage.
• Facilitate the Project Profitability Model process to define project objectives, technical needs, and required effort.
• Assist in the creation of Statements of Work, detailing scope, deliverables, and responsibilities.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Business Development Managers to develop customized proposals.
• Coordinate with Project Managers regarding action plans, task assignments, and ownership.
• Execute or supervise technical project management tasks, including access requests, credential management, asset deployment, and sensor whitelisting.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Act as the primary client contact for urgent findings and testing notifications.
• Assume Project Manager responsibilities when needed, including client follow-ups, timesheet reviews, and project close-outs.
• Review and authorize reports prior to client delivery in collaboration with the assigned Director.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on selected projects, clients, or technical domains.
• Lead the delivery of final reports and convert complex findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain billable utilization at or below 25% when serving as a regular consultant.
• Manage assigned Security Consultants through weekly check-ins and monthly one-on-ones.
• Mentor consultants to support their professional growth and job satisfaction.
• Address consultant concerns and accumulate feedback for annual performance evaluations.
• Strengthen client relationships, identify opportunities for expansion, and contribute to business growth.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Collaborate with Directors on strategic initiatives while managing day-to-day scoping, delivery support, and consultant management responsibilities.
• Over 4 years of experience in offensive security services, with significant hands-on delivery experience across client projects.
• Previous experience in leading technical scoping, project coordination, or informal team leadership roles.
• Strong technical expertise in at least one offensive security service area, such as application security, red teaming, mobile security, security architecture, ICS/OT/SCADA, or SDL.
• Familiarity with other offensive security disciplines.
• Ability to convert technical findings into client-ready recommendations.
• Experience in supporting or participating in the sales process, including scoping calls and effort estimation, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills when engaging with clients.
• Ability to balance hands-on consulting tasks with scoping, sales support, and team management duties.
• Effective collaboration with Directors, Project Managers, BDMs, and Security Consultants.
• Sound judgment in escalating critical findings and managing client-facing risk discussions.
• Capability to mentor consultants and provide constructive feedback through structured one-on-ones and performance reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred industry certifications: OSCP, GPEN, GXPN, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar offensive security credentials.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% for client engagements.
