This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Prepare quarterly sub-schedules (CMS-64.10) to ensure that administrative expenditures are accurately reported to CMS.

• Supervise the reconciliation and claiming process for Medicaid Administrative Claiming.

• Implement appropriate cost allocation methodologies and federal matching rates (FMAP).

• Monitor and track expenditures in relation to Advanced Planning Documents (APD).

• Ensure that APD project expenditures comply with federal approval requirements.

• Stay updated on changes in federal claiming policies.

• Guarantee that agency reporting remains compliant and ready for audits.

• Identify areas for improving data collection efficiency and enhancing the accuracy of federal reports.


⛳️ Requirements

• No sponsorship is needed for this position.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of 5+ years of overall work experience is necessary.

• At least 5+ years of experience with State or Local Government is required.

• Experience in Federal healthcare or State Medicaid finance is essential.

• Proficiency in healthcare reporting is a must.

• Ability to convert complex federal claiming requirements into financial summaries.

• Intermediate to Expert level MS Excel skills; must be comfortable working with large datasets.

• Knowledge of Public Assistance Cost Allocation Plans (PACAP) is required.

• A functional understanding of the CMS-64 reporting process, Medicaid Administrative Claiming, and the APD/IAPD planning and approval processes is necessary.

• Familiarity with Medicaid data systems (MMIS and E&E) is preferred.

• Capability to investigate data anomalies and discern operational factors affecting financial outcomes.

• The ideal candidate will have experience working for a State health and human services agency or with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
